Patrick's feature film The Year of Getting to Know Us, starring Sharon Stone, Lucy Liu and Jimmy Fallon, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January, 2008 and is scheduled for release in 2009.
He started his commercial career as a writer for Saatchi & Saatchi in London and is the founding (and current) Creative Director of the film and TV website Blinkbox - also based in London.
Patrick wrote and directed the BMW short film Drive, which won gold medals at the World Media Awards and The New York Festivals of Advertising and has also directed spots for The New York Times, Coors Light, Doc Marten's, mikewweir.com and Atom Films.
He produced the feature Rescuing Desire, starring Melinda Mullins and Allison Janney, which premiered at the 1998 Berlin Film Festival.
As a journalist, Patrick has been a regular contributor to Canada's Globe and Mail, National Post and Toro Magazine and the UK's News of the World and ShortList.
He is a graduate of NYU Film School.
