Paula Walker

Award winning director, Paula Walker, has put her unique signature on numerous media over the course of her career including commercials, music videos, still photography and narrative film. Partnering with award winning director of photography Rolf Kestermann, Paula is the founder of Strato Films, a commercial and music video production company.

Working with clients both in the US and abroad, Paula has collaborated on countless television campaigns including BMW, Mazda, Revlon, Nestle, Kodak, Cover Girl, Acura, Coca-Cola, Mercedes, Target, and Bacardi. Her work in the music world includes collaborations with Tina Turner, Babyface, Tracy Chapman, Dolly Parton, Lou Reed, Marc Anthony, Queen Latifah, Carlos Santana.

Her dance work has included collaborations with the following innovative companies Pilobolus, Pina Bausch, The Pussycat Dolls, The Frankfurt Ballet Company and The Dance Theatre of Harlem.

Paula has been honored with several awards including the International Monitor Award, the Silver Lion at Cannes and the Deutscher Kommunikationsverband-Die-Klappe – Germany’s equivalent to the Clios. Furthermore, her short film SEED stirred up notable buzz and was the recipient of numerous awards at various festivals throughout the US. Paula is currently in development on her first feature film, OCCAM’S RAZOR slated to shoot in Fall 2008.

Paula was raised in Los Angeles and studied theatre and dance at the University of Michigan.
